itemprop=\"text\" ><p>The Running Club is for 4th and 5th grade students who are looking for a physical challenge. The goal of the Running Club is to complete a 5k race in the Spring. The club introduces students to different types of runs to prepare for the race, while the curriculum teaches students about perseverance, commitment, and encouragement. The Running Club meets twice a week after school and will gradually build a runners base in preparation for the 5K. Students learn the value of being a good person, sticking with a goal, and encouraging others.
